Our Correspondent in Maine

Autumn returns tomorrow, and for the past two weeks we've been trying to keep up with each other. But between busy family events and plenty of time on the road beyond cell phone range, it's been hard to talk for more than a few minutes at a time. Luckily, we have blogs to fill in some of the gaps.

Autumn has provided updates on her bachelorette party, returning to the Maine shore, and, sadly, the death of her lifelong puppy Akbar.

For additional intelligence, I have a correspondent in the lovely and talented blogress Scheherazade, Autumn's best friend, my college chum, and our matchmaker and blog inspiration. She has scoops on dress fitting, heading to the bachelorette party, and planning for Autumn's and her sister's bridal shower. All while eulogizing her grandfather, sailing, and offering the kind of fresh candid commentary on lawyering that inspires hundreds of downtrodden lawyers and law students.

Sherry's moving on from her old job at a law firm, and many of us are jockeying to draw her closer to us. And if we can't sell her on Montana when she comes out for the wedding, we'll still look forward to reading her writing about whatever she does next.
